Hands-On Science

Want to learn more about a variety of science topics, rub elbows with your science professors, have fun with your current and future classmates in a no stress setting? Our FREE Hands-On Science events are your answer. These events are hosted by FLC science faculty and cover a wide range of topics. Access to the events calendar and topics is provided through our Hands-On Science Canvas page to allow for updates and easy access to Los Rios Assumption of Risk Waiver.

Interested?

All you need to do is to request to join the Hands-On Science Canvas page and complete a waiver by following the directions listed below:

1. Email Ami Rose at rosea@flc.losrios.edu.
2. Provide your student ID number.
3. When accepting the invitation, sign and upload the Los Rios Assumption of Risk Waiver (required to participate). You only need to sign and upload this form one time, and it will be good for the entire semester for these activities.
