Admissions and Records
Admissions & Records serves as the first point of contact to the college. Students may apply online or in person at the main campus or at one of our educational centers.
CalWORKs (California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids) is a statewide public assistance program that provides cash aid and services to eligible families that have a child or children in the home.
Career and Transfer Center
The Career and Transfer Center (CTC) supports students in the areas of choosing a major, career exploration, career counseling, job preparation, and transfer preparation and planning.
Our counselors provide academic, career, transfer, and personal counseling to FLC students.
Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS)
Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) assists students with disabilities in becoming successful and independent learners who achieve their full potential and become actively engaged in the campus community.
We are multi-issue, intersectional, and want students to be able to bring their full selves into our space.
Financial Aid provides resources to help students pay for college. Types of financial aid include grants, loans, and scholarships.
First Year Engagement
First year students are encouraged to participate in FYE and enroll in HCD 310 College Success, a class that guides students through the learning and application of essential college success skills. Students are connected to campus, meet other first year students, and are supported by their Success Team which includes an academic counselor, peer mentor, and HCD faculty.
Health & Wellness Services
Our Health & Wellness services address all aspects of wellness: mind, body, spirit, environment, intellectual, vocational/occupational, and social.
Orientation gives students important information to help them succeed at Folsom Lake College. All new students must complete orientation online or in person.
Reading & Writing Center
The Reading & Writing Center provides FLC and RCC students with one-on-one tutoring in any discipline requiring reading or writing.
Soar To Success
Our Soar To Success programs are designed to provide a welcoming, supportive, and enjoyable college experience to students during their first year in college.
Students can get help learning challenging course material and developing study skills.
Veterans Success Center
The Folsom Lake College Veterans Success Center (VSC) provides assistance to Veterans and dependents who may be eligible for various VA educational benefits, as well as assisting with the onboarding process and transition to college.
WEAVE Confidential Advocate
The WEAVE Confidential Advocate is available for students, faculty, or staff who have experienced any form of sexual harassment or violence and wants support or information.
Welcome and Student Success Center
The Welcome and Student Success Center (WSSC) helps new students get started with their academic experience at Folsom Lake College.
Work Experience and Internship Program
The Work Experience (WEXP) and Internship Program allows students to gain marketable skills and knowledge while earning college credit.
