FLC Art Scholarships Finalists Virtual Art Show

Folsom Lake College's Visual Arts Department proudly presents a virtual art show of student scholarship finalists. The show will be on virtual exhibit from March 7 through May 16, 2025.
These FLC art students have made it to the finalists round and will be competing for the prestigious Kingsley Merit Scholarship, as well as two new scholarships, the El Dorado Hills Art Association Scholarship, and the Joey Cattone Memorial Scholarship.
The winner of the Kingsley Merit Scholarship Award will represent Folsom Lake College at an exhibition in the Crocker Art Museum from April 3 - June 15, 2025 in the first floor of the Crocker Art Museum historic building. There will be a reception at the Crocker Art Museum honoring the student artists on Sunday, April 27, 1 pm in the Crocker Auditorium when each artist will receive a $550 award with a certificate. The Kingsley Art Club Merit Awards Program is a longstanding tradition that Kingsley supports emerging art students from the six local community colleges American River, Cosumnes, Folsom Lake, Sacramento City, Sierra, and Yuba). The professors at each college select one student to be recognized and to receive the award.
The El Dorado Hills Art Association Rising Artist Scholarship is sponsored by the El Dorado Hills Art Association and awarded to one art student from FLC that plans to study and have a career in art. The winner will give a presentation at one of the EDHAA members' meetings and receive a $1,000 award.
The Joey Cattone Young Artist Award and Memorial Scholarship sponsored by EDHAA via El Dorado Arts Council will award one promising art student. The winner will give a presentation at one of the EDHAA members' meetings and receive a $1,000 award.
