At the Undocu-Falcons Center, we are dedicated to empowering undocumented students, students from mixed-status families, and allies. Our mission is to provide unwavering support and essential resources, fostering an inclusive campus that actively embraces and supports all students, regardless of their immigration status.

Vision Statement
Our vision is to cultivate a college campus that celebrates diversity and inclusivity, where every student feels valued and supported, irrespective of their immigration status. We aim to nurture an environment of understanding, empathy, and respect, championing the rights and dreams of undocumented students, those from mixed-status families, refugees, asylum-seekers, immigrant communities, and allies.
Through collaborative efforts, we strive to establish a safe and empowering space that breaks down barriers, promotes educational access, and provides the resources necessary for all students to thrive academically and personally. Together, we envision a future where every individual has equal opportunities to succeed and contribute positively to our campus and society.

Undocu-Falcons Services
We assist with completing the following:
- Assisting Undocumented, DACA, and AB540 students with the application and enrollment process
- Residency forms
- California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
- Financial aid guidance and scholarship information
- Connections to other programs on campus
- Referrals to outside agencies
Financial Aid representatives are available to answer any general questions regarding financial aid as well as assist with the completion of the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
All assistance is FREE to any student interested in attending FLC.

We provide comprehensive support services to students who are undocumented, of mixed family status, and allies.

Personal Counseling
Folsom Lake College provides mental health and wellness services to all currently enrolled students, including individual and group therapy, training, and workshops on a variety of topics.

Legal Consultations
The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), in collaboration with Los Rios Community College District, offers free virtual and in person immigration consultations to Los Rios students, faculty, and staff. CHIRLA immigration services include:
- Immigration consultations
- DACA renewals
- Naturalization
- Family-based immigration
- Know your rights

Incoming first-year students and returning students receive ongoing support through the admissions process as early as the start of their senior year in high school and throughout their time at FLC. Undocu-Falcons staff assists and conducts student follow-ups to ensure that students are taking the right steps towards college readiness. We support students through the following processes:

UndocuAlly trainings are designed for staff, faculty, student employees and others who work with undocumented students and students from mixed status families at Folsom Lake College. The training provides
- an overview of the federal and state policies that impact the lives of undocumented students and students from mixed-status families
- knowledge of the conditions experienced by students, activities, to reach a greater understanding on how to address these needs
- tools to become allies and advocates during students' college journey and beyond.

California Dream Act and AB 540
The California Dream Act allows students who meet the requirements of Assembly Bill 540 to apply for financial aid from the state. AB 540 allows certain students to pay reduced tuition fees.

| FLC Policy | Folsom Lake College will not release any personally identifiable student information, including any data related to immigration status, without a judicial warrant, subpoena or court order, unless authorized by the student or required by law. |
| College Eligibility | The CCCs, CSUs & UCs are open to all students who meet the minimum requirements for admission, regardless of immigration status. |
| Financial Aid Benefits | Students can be confident that based on federal and state law, any information they submit on their college admission and/or financial aid applications will not put themselves or their families at risk. |
| Restricting Data Access | Directory information, which includes name, dates of attendance, and other factors can be considered public information. Students may request that the college restrict access to their directory information by contacting the Admissions and Records Office |
