
The Puente Project is a nationally recognized program that supports educationally underrepresented students in achieving their college and career goals. Since 1981, Puente has expanded access to four-year colleges and universities through an integrated model of writing, counseling, and mentoring. The program empowers students to earn degrees and return to their communities as leaders and mentors.
- Puente is open to all students who want to transfer
- Eligible to take ENGL C1000 (formerly ENWR 300)
- Eligible to take ENGL C1001 (formerly ENGWR 301)
- Eligible to take HCD 310 College Success
- Have desire and committed to engage in program events and activities
- Eligible and available for in-person courses in Fall 2026:
- ENGL C1000: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 am to 10:20 am
- HCD 310: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30am to 11:50 am
