Folsom Lake College Closed in Observance of Veterans Day on Nov. 11

Folsom Lake College will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in observance of Veterans Day. No classes will be held and all college offices will be closed.

Consider attending one of these community events to honor those who have served:

20th Annual Wayne Spence Folsom Veterans Day Parade - Virtual
Starting at 9:00am, Online at the City of Folsom's Parks & Recreation Facebook page
Although the traditional parade will not take place this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Folsom will still pay tribute to the nation’s veterans. The short video commemoration will include segments from past years’ parades and brief interviews with local veterans. Join us as we honor all veterans and celebrate their service!

El Dorado County Veterans Day Virtual Ceremony

Join El Dorado County veterans, their families, and citizens online to honor those who served the cause of freedom.

Rancho Cordova Veterans Day Observance
Flag presentation all day, blood drive 11:00am-4:00pm
“Flags on Folsom Boulevard” will feature hundreds of American flags posted on the south side of Rancho Cordova’s central roadway, paying tribute to our armed forces, as organizers shift to an observance which honors the sacrifice of veterans while complying with COVID-19 social distancing requirements. A Veterans Day blood drive will also be held at Rancho Cordova City Hall - appointments for the blood drive can be made online at: vitalant.org/health.
