January 11, 2022
The Falcon's Eye Theatre at Folsom Lake College calls for FLC students and actors from the community to audition for its spring production of the Broadway hit Rent on Monday, January 31, and Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. All skill levels are encouraged to audition [Note: Audition dates have been changed from the original dates of January 25 and 26 due to the campus closure.]
About the Production
Based loosely on Puccini's La Boheme, Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Rent follows a year in the life of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive and create under the shadow of AIDS. How these young bohemians negotiate their dreams, loves, and conflicts provide the narrative thread to this groundbreaking musical. Performances will be held at the Harris Center for the Arts.
Open Vocal and Dance Auditions: Monday, January 31, 7:00 to 10:00 pm (by appointment only)
Open Monologue Auditions: Tuesday, February 1, 7:00 to 10:00 pm (by appointment only)
