Spring Semester Starts Week of Jan. 16

Folsom Lake College's Spring 2021 semester officially begins on Saturday, January 16, 2021. An extensive selection of general education, university transfer, career education, and personal enrichment courses will be offered. 

Please Note: All Spring 2021 classes will be fully online with only limited exceptions for programs that train first responders or those in areas that have an urgent and significant health and safety impact on our communities.

The spring semester runs January 16 through May 19; other shorter-term or "late-start" classes begin throughout the semester. 

Although registration is underway and some classes may be closed for registration, there are still many open classes available.

You must first apply for admission to the college before registering for classes. Tuition is free for first-time full-time students through the Los Rios Promise program.

Priority Registration and Enrollment Dates
Each semester, students are given an enrollment appointment date and time. This appointment time is the earliest time you can enroll in classes. Your individual enrollment appointment is based on a number of things, including your class level and how many units you’ve completed.

Tuition and Fees
The current tuition and enrollment fee for residents is $46 per unit. For non-residents, tuition is $370 per unit. Learn about other fees, including foreign student application fee, student representation fee, health services fee, universal transit pass (UTP) fee, and parking fees.

Spring 2021 Academic Calendar
The spring 2021 semester starts January 16 and ends May 19. Final exams take place May 13 to 19. See all dates and deadlines related to enrollment, dropping classes, and petitioning for pass/no pass.
