Folsom Lake College's Falcon’s Eye Theatre invites you to its fall production of Mr. Burns... A Post-Electric Play, opening Friday, November 7, and running through Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Harris Center for the Arts.

About the Play

What will endure when the cataclysm arrives—when the grid fails, society crumbles, and we're faced with the task of rebuilding? Anne Washburn's imaginative dark comedy with music is an exploration of how the pop culture of one era might evolve into the mythology of another.  This production will be performed in the promenade style throughout the Harris Center.

“Anne Washburn’s hypnotic, sly and fiendishly insinuating Mr. Burns, a post-electric play... does the improbable: It makes the end of civilization seem like the perfect time to create glowing objects of wonder and beauty.” – Time Out New York

“Downright brilliant. When was the last time you met a new play that was so smart it made your head spin?” – The New York Times

“Get in line ASAP. This bizarre, funny, bleak, wonderful show is even better than its hype.” – New York Post
