Folsom Lake College's Falcon’s Eye Theatre invites you to its spring production of Godspell, opening Friday, April 17, and running through Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Harris Center for the Arts.

About the Play

Godspell is an uplifting, joy-filled musical that celebrates community, compassion, and hope. Inspired by the Gospel According to St. Matthew, Godspell follows a vibrant ensemble of performers who join Jesus in bringing parables to life through playful games, inventive storytelling, and generous doses of humor.

Featuring an eclectic score that spans pop, folk-rock, vaudeville, and more, Godspell dances across the stage with energy and heart. As the story deepens into the Last Supper and Crucifixion, the production thoughtfully reflects on the questions and challenges of today.

Ultimately, Jesus’ enduring messages of kindness, tolerance, and love shine with powerful relevance—inviting audiences to gather, celebrate, and connect in a moving theatrical experience.
