The "Gender in Jazz Jam" is a project that showcases the significant contributions of women composers and musicians in the jazz idiom. The goal of this initiative is to inspire young women to start or continue performing jazz, while also encouraging music educators to support and guide them in this pursuit.

Participants

Middle School and High School female-identifying or non-binary students. No experience in jazz necessary.
