Folsom Lake College's Falcon’s Eye Theatre invites you to its spring production of American Night: The Ballad of Juan José, opening Friday, April 4, and running through Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Harris Center for the Arts.
About the Play
This laugh-out-loud, irreverent play follows an immigrant, Juan José, who is frantically trying to study for his citizenship exam when he falls asleep. Over the course of one riotous night, he has a fantastical dream, leading him on a wild journey through American history. Written by Richard Montoya, with a mash-up of historical figures, contemporary characters, and satirical situations, this play provides a fresh and humorous look at the American Dream.

Tickets are available for purchase on the Harris Center website or by clicking on the button below. Prices per ticket are $17 for Students with ID, $29 for Seniors 65+, and $32 for General Admission.

About Falcon’s Eye Theatre
Falcon's Eye Theatre is the production arm of the Department of Theatre and Cinema at Folsom Lake College. Falcon’s Eye produced its first season of plays in 2007 and has been offering multiple productions each year ever since. The company is known for creating provocative theatre that looks into what it means to be alive and how we manage to live together. Its mission is to provide the community with insightful theatre that reveals new perspectives through fascinating storytelling that challenges audiences’ expectations. Students and community members are encouraged to audition for the productions and serve as on-stage or technical talent.
