"Continuum: The Alumni Exhibition" on Display at the Harris Center
“Continuum: The Alumni Exhibition” will be on display at Folsom Lake College’s Harris Center for the Arts in the Bank of America Gallery from Friday, October 17, through Sunday, December 7, 2025. An opening reception will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the gallery. Admission to the reception is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This exhibition celebrates the creative evolution of artists who began their journeys at Folsom Lake College. United by shared roots yet defined by distinct paths, the participating alumni reflect the lasting influence of FLC’s Visual Arts program. Their works, spanning painting, sculpture, ceramics, fabric arts, and digital media, speak to the spirit of inquiry, experimentation, and perseverance that has long shaped the college’s artistic community.
The works honor the idea of artistic growth as an ongoing process, one that extends far beyond the classroom. "Continuum" invites viewers to experience the threads that connect past and present, the mentorships that guided early steps, the skills that matured over time, and the personal visions that continue to evolve. Together, these works affirm that creativity is not a single moment but a living continuum, ever-expanding and deeply rooted in shared beginnings.
Participating artists include Ido Agranov, Cristina Arizmendi, Sigrid Benson, Natalia Bidun, Jacob Roy Carter Goodwin, Val Laolagi, Patricia Mimmack, Bobby Skelton, and Zach Timberlake.
The Bank of America Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 to 4:00 pm during the fall semester, as well as an hour before and during intermission of performances in Stage One at the Harris Center, or by appointment by emailing FLC Art Professor Marisa Sayago at sayagom@flc.losrios.edu. Admission to the gallery is free, and parking permits are required ($2 daily permits can be purchased from kiosks).
