What is Club of the Year?
The Club of the Year (CotY) Campaign is a year-long campaign hosted by Clubs and Events Board (CAEB) to help showcase the most exceptional clubs on campus. Participating clubs have the chance to win additional funding for their clubs and to receive recognition for the great efforts they’ve gone through throughout the academic year.
How Can My Club Win an Accolade?
Accolades are categories in which clubs compete to win funding. Unless otherwise stated, the way to become eligible for an accolade is through nomination, either submitted by your Advisor or President. CAEB will then review applicants to determine the winner.
What Are the Prizes?
CAEB has allocated a large sum of money as the prize pool for this campaign. First place prizes can expect to be awarded $60.00, and second place winners will receive $20.00. These funds are liable to change. In the event of a tie, the first and second place prizes will be combined and split amongst the winners. Ties occur during collaborative events.
What Are Ways to Increase My Club’s Odds of Winning?
The best ways to try and secure funding through your club are large collaborative projects with other clubs, a demonstration of excellence, or by being an active member of the campus community.
