In order to write about literature effectively, a writer must understand much more than just the point of the text; a writer must also be familiar with common literary and rhetorical devices, and learn how to identify them. Attend this workshop to learn strategies for understanding a literary text, analyzing the various literary devices to derive meaning, and for making your own argument about a piece of literature.
