Join us from October 28 to November 1 for Wayward Witch Week at the Innovation Center! This week is all about gearing up for the Halloween party, and we’re inviting everyone to help out. Whether you’re crafting eerie bats with our laser cutters or 3D printing jack-o'-lanterns, the Innovation Center is your haunted headquarters for creating all the spooky decor you need. We’ll also be sketching out our own monsters on the whiteboards, so come by and lend a hand as we prepare for a frightfully fun time!
We hope to see you throughout the week as we get ready for this spooky celebration. Big shout-out to our student artist Oakley for the wonderful art!
Events of the Week
Wand Making Workshop
Day: Monday, October 28
Time: 11:30 am to 12:30 pm
Create your very own magical wand using hot glue, paints, and whatever materials you want to bring it to life. Whether it’s for yourself or the Halloween party, come get crafty and design something magical!
Halloween Decoration Creation
Day: Tuesday October 29 and Wednesday October 30
Time: 10:30 am to 12:00 pm
Help us transform the space into a haunted haven! We’ll be making Halloween decorations, including potion bottles and alchemy-themed items. Whether you’re crafting something to take home or donating it for the party, we’ve got plenty of materials for you to use. We’ll also be happy to help you use our machines to create whatever spooky decor you’ve got in mind. Feel free to bring any extra supplies you’d like to use.
Halloween Party: Nova School for Wayward Witches
Day: Thursday October 31
Time: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Step into the Nova School for Wayward Witches! Throughout the day, we’ll have rotating magical “classes” every hour, from potion making and spell creation to wax stamping and tarot card readings. You can even adopt a magical 3D printed creature and get sorted into one of our Innovation Center guilds. There will also be a costume contest, so be sure to come dressed in your Halloween best! We’ll have plenty of activities, some candy, and pizza to keep the party going.
