This is an opportunity for students to learn about my experiences in Ghana, West Africa in Fall 2022. During this meeting there will be a presentation with pictures and stories about my experiences that I want to share with students as an educator and Black Woman.

This is open to all students and centered on "Black Experiences". There will be topics related to enslavement, historical trauma and African culture. Students from other cultures are welcome to join and please be aware there will be a structured discussion on African Centered Practices in Education.

Advanced registration is required.

Hosted by Brandy Jones-Thomas, Allied Health and Human Services, Cosumnes River College. Open to all Los Rios students and the community.
