Utility Line Clearance Arborist Training

Folsom Lake College offers two courses related to arborist work; a five-week Utility Line Clearance Arborist (ULCA) Training, and a two-week Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) Level 1 Pre-Inspector course. Please read course descriptions below and contact us if you'd like more information.

You will receive valuable certification at no cost to you.

Registration is now open for Utility Line Clearance Arborist Training (ULCAT). Submitting a registration form does not guarantee enrollment in the class.

• Commitment to follow Folsom Lake College student conduct and rights, to be respectful of instructors and fellow trainees, to show up on time for every class, be ready to learn and participate in class, and plan to study after class. Two late shows or no shows will disqualify trainees from the program.
• This program is funded by grants which will require trainees to participate in surveys. Data collected will include information on your income, size of household, demographics, employment, your use of state and federal social services, and other personal information. Data is sent via a secure server and is used for the purpose of understanding participant demographics and improving the program. All participants are required to complete every survey.
• 18 years of age or older with a clean driver license record.

NOTE: A GED or high school diploma is not required.
