Path 1: ENGWR 300 or ENGWR 480 Placement
First Semester
Enroll in one the following:
Second Semester
Enroll in one of the following:
- ENGWR 301: College Composition and Literature2 (3 units)
- ENGWR 481: Honors College Composition and Literature2 (3 units)
- ENGWR 302: Advanced Composition and Critical Thinking2 (3 units)
- ENGWR 482: Honors Advanced Composition and Critical Thinking2 (3 units)
- 1 Satisfies AA/AS graduation requirements along with CSU GE A2 and IGETC 1A areas. Transferable to UC/CSU – speak with a counselor for transfer information.
- 2 Satisfies AA/AS graduation requirements along with CSU GE A3 and IGETC GE 1B areas. Transferable to UC/CSU – speak with a counselor for transfer information.
Path 2: ENGWR 33/300 Combo Placement
First Semester
Students take a combination of courses designed to ensure their success. Enroll in both of the following:
- ENGWR 300: College Composition3 (3 units) and
- ENGWR 33: Support for College Composition (3 units).
- Each ENGWR 33 has its own required section of ENGWR 300.
Second Semester
Enroll in one of the following:
- ENGWR 301: College Composition and Literature4 (3 units)
- ENGWR 481: Honors College Composition and Literature4 (3 units)
- ENGWR 302: Advanced Composition and Critical Thinking4 (3 units)
- ENGWR 482: Honors Advanced Composition and Critical Thinking4 (3 units)
