Library Instruction Sessions
If you are an instructor at Folsom Lake College, you may request library
instruction for your class. These 50-minute sessions demonstrate how to use
the library, its services and available resources. Basic searching
strategies, techniques and tips are also covered.
At least a one-week notice is required to schedule an instruction for
your class. If you have any questions please contact

tellesj@flc.losrios.edu. You may fill the following form out online or
obtain a paper copy from the library circulation counter. The librarian will
confirm your instruction date and time.

Placing Materials on Course Reserve
Reserve materials are supplementary resources instructors can make
available to their students. These materials circulate for short loan
periods: 2-hr, 1-day, 3-day or 1 week. Reserve materials are kept behind the
circulation counter and students need to request them by their library call
number.
If you would like to place material on reserve for your class please click
on the form below, fill out the online form and print it out. Bring the
completed form, along with your reserve item, to the Circulation Counter.
Please allow 3 working days for the processing to be completed.

Electronic Reserves
NOW AVAILABLE!
The library is pleased to announce the introduction of electronic course
reserves at Folsom Lake College. Students can directly access full-text
articles and other documents that are placed on reserve via the LOIS library
catalog.

FLC Librarians are assigned faculty subject liaison and collection
development responsibilities by discipline area. If you know of
materials that should be added to the collection in support of your subject
field, please bring these to the attention of any FLC librarian.
