Homework
Guidelines
Your
homework should be in the following format:
- Write
in pencil.
- The beginning of each section
should be clearly labeled with the section number and
the assigned
problems listed.
- You
must do the problems and sections in the order assigned.
- Write
the question down! (unless it is a word problem or a given graph)
- The
work should be organized and easy to follow
(readable). If it is not, I will
not grade it.
- Staple in the
upper left corner with all perforations neatly trimmed off. If it is not
stapled, I will grade only the first page.
Paper clips do not suffice.
- Your name,
class and the assignment number in the upper right corner.
- Graphs
should be on graphing
paper. (one square = one unit)
- Skip a
line between problems.
Your
homework will be graded on:
1. Completeness
and Correctness.
2. Presentation:
organization, neatness. Your work should be easy to find and follow. Make your thought process clear on
paper. If I can’t figure out what you’re
doing, you get a zero.
3. Showing
work. I am totally unimpressed by answers.
I want solutions.
4. Following
the format directions.
