Eight Placerville Arts Association Art Show pieces

Reception: Friday, May 12 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Exhibition: Friday, May 12 through Sunday, August 20, 2023

The Bank of America Gallery in the Harris Center is proud to host the Placerville Arts Association Summer Members Show themed The Artist’s Mind. The show celebrates the creativity and originality of their exceptional member artists. From 31 2D and 12 3D art entrees, this juried show represents the selection of a single piece of extraordinary art from each artist.

The Artist’s Mind exhibition will include a wearable art piece by our juror, Joyce Bahnsen. Hungarian Szur, a wedding coat embellished with gold, won Best Translation of the Original Design in Dimensions in Design’s Single Pattern Contest in 1994. Bahnsen has been an icon on the Placerville art scene for many years.
